Residential & Commercial Window Cleaning Services (UK)
These Terms & Conditions apply to all window cleaning, conservatory cleaning, gutter cleaning, and related services provided by [Your Business Name] (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”).
By booking our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Services Provided
We provide professional window cleaning and related exterior cleaning services to residential and commercial properties. Services may include (but are not limited to):

Gutter cleaning

Frames, sills, and doors (where agreed)
The exact service provided will be confirmed at the time of booking or quotation.
2. Quotations & Pricing

All quotes are based on the information provided at the time of enquiry.

Prices may change if the property size, access, condition, or scope of work differs from what was described.

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

For commercial properties, prices may be reviewed periodically.
3. Payment Terms
Residential Customers

Payment is due on completion of the service, unless agreed otherwise.

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at booking.
Commercial Customers

Payment terms are 14 days from invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late payments may result in suspension of services.
4. Access & Customer Responsibilities

You must provide safe and reasonable access to all areas requiring cleaning.

Windows must be closed and secured prior to cleaning.

We are not responsible for delays or incomplete work due to restricted access, locked gates, pets, or obstructions.

Please inform us of any known fragile glass, defective frames, or previous damage before work begins.
5. Health & Safety

We work in accordance with UK health and safety regulations.

We reserve the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe (e.g. severe weather, unsafe access).

We do not climb onto roofs, conservatories, or fragile surfaces unless explicitly agreed and risk-assessed.
6. Weather Conditions

External window cleaning can be carried out in light rain using pure water systems.

In extreme weather conditions (high winds, storms, freezing temperatures), appointments may be rescheduled for safety reasons.
7. Damage & Liability

We are fully insured for public liability.

We are not responsible for damage caused by:

Pre-existing faults or poor window condition
-
Failed seals, blown units, or weakened frames
-
Faulty gutters, loose fittings, or brittle UPVC

Any damage concerns must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.
8. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the quality of our work, please notify us within 48 hours.

We will return to re-clean the affected areas where appropriate.

Refunds are not offered once work has been completed unless agreed in writing.
9. Cancellations & Missed Appointments
Residential

We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations.

Missed appointments without notice may be charged.
Commercial

Cancellation terms will be agreed as part of the service contract.

Repeated cancellations may result in termination of service.
10. Regular Cleaning Services

Regular cleaning services (weekly, monthly, quarterly) continue until cancelled.

We require 14 days’ notice to cancel regular services.

Prices for regular services may be reviewed periodically.
11. Commercial Contracts

Commercial services may be governed by a separate written agreement.
-
Site-specific risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) can be provided upon request.

Any additional work outside the agreed contract will be quoted separately.
12. Complaints
All complaints must be made in writing via email or contact form.
We aim to resolve all issues promptly and professionally.
13. Data Protection
We handle customer information in accordance with UK data protection laws.
Your details will only be used for service delivery, communication, and invoicing.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
